“Please do not disturb”: This diorama is a re-creation of one of my favorite dioramas, among others, by the great Belgian modeler Francois Verlinden. It is presented in “The Verlinden Way VI” book. For modelers of my age, Francois was not just a modeler; he was a pioneer, inspiring new generations to improve craftsmanship and realism in scale modeling. Although it looks like a simple diorama, believe me, rebuilding it was a great chalenge for me! There are so many things you have to pay attention to, and so many details to focus on. Verlinden, after all, is a master of synthesis. Overall this was a great lesson for me, and I really enjoyed every moment of construction.
