 1912, the Greek Army did not operate in Asia Minor, but was heavily engaged in the First Balkan War against the Ottoman Empire, focusing on liberating Macedonia and Epirus, and securing Aegean islands. The Greek Army’s major campaign in Asia Minor (the Greco-Turkish War) occurred later, from 1919 to 1922, following WWI.
